Sophia Grace Brownlee Scores a Movie Role

Sophia Grace Brownlee is taking her next step in total world domination – the 10-year-old Ellen DeGeneres Show favorite has scored her first acting role.

The pint-size British singer, rapper, interviewer and YouTube star is joining an A-list cast in the big-screen adaptation of the hit Broadway musical Into the Woods.

"It's official, @PrincessSGB (Sophia grace brownlee) has landed the part of little red riding hood," her proud uncle, Lucas Brownlee, Tweeted on Tuesday.

The live-action Disney movie musical is set for release in December 2014 and is being directed by Chicago's Rob Marshall.

Others in the cast are no slouches, either. Meryl Streep stars as the Witch, Johnny Depp as the Wolf, Emily Blunt as the Baker's Wife, Anna Kendrick as Cinderella, Christine Baranski as Cinderella's Stepmother and Chris Pine as Cinderella's Prince.

There's no comment yet from Sophia Grace's cousin (and Ellen costar), Rosie Grace McClelland, but she is known for being a girl of very few words.
