We were beyond thrilled to find out that Sophia Grace had been castas Little Red for Into The Woods, but she’s been ousted!
ANNIE’s Lilla Crawford replaced the internet sensation, but there’s no explanation why yet!
Maybe it had to do with Lilla’s acting experience, since Sophia has largely done singing and red carpet interviews.
Whatever the reason, we know Sophia will be a silver screen star in no time, if that’s what she aims to do.

Sophia Grace Brownlee Scores a Movie Role

Sophia Grace Brownlee is taking her next step in total world domination – the 10-year-old Ellen DeGeneres Show favorite has scored her first acting role.

The pint-size British singer, rapper, interviewer and YouTube star is joining an A-list cast in the big-screen adaptation of the hit Broadway musical Into the Woods.

"It's official, @PrincessSGB (Sophia grace brownlee) has landed the part of little red riding hood," her proud uncle, Lucas Brownlee, Tweeted on Tuesday.

The live-action Disney movie musical is set for release in December 2014 and is being directed by Chicago's Rob Marshall.

Others in the cast are no slouches, either. Meryl Streep stars as the Witch, Johnny Depp as the Wolf, Emily Blunt as the Baker's Wife, Anna Kendrick as Cinderella, Christine Baranski as Cinderella's Stepmother and Chris Pine as Cinderella's Prince.

There's no comment yet from Sophia Grace's cousin (and Ellen costar), Rosie Grace McClelland, but she is known for being a girl of very few words.

Sophia Grace Music Video ‘Girls Just Gotta Have Fun’ Isn’t Fun

UntitledSurely you recognize 10-year-old British “rapper” Sophia Grace from her many appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The charming child first burst onto the scene in September 2011 when avideo of her singing Nicki Minaj’s Super Bass with her cousin Rosie went viral on YouTube. (As of this writing, that video has 42,058,357 hits.) The following month, the two girls appeared on DeGeneres’ talk show with Minaj (the clip of that appearance has been viewed 60,268,349 times on YouTube) and the rest is history. Sophia Grace and Rosie quickly became regular contributors to the talk show, appearing on the Grammys red carpet for ‘Ellen’ in 2012, doing pop covers and having tea with singers like Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber. But as Sophia Grace has gotten a little older, some of her quirky charm has turned into a more mature personality, making her not less appealing per se, but certainly not the same entertainment commodity America is used to. One of the difficult questions that comes with working in Hollywood is how to make smooth career transitions as you age, but most women don’t have to deal with that until they’re over 40. Sophia Grace, at the tender age of 10, is now trying to find a way to transition from plucky chat show guest to legit music act, and she’s made her first move in that direction with a music video to a song called “Girls Just Gotta Have Fun.” That bad news is, the video isn’t very fun at all.At the heart of Sophia Grace’s immense likability is her spontaneous nature and enthusiasm. While this video, below, is full of the latter, it lacks much of the former. Like all pop songs for kids, this one isn’t very good, and the video is way overproduced. By trying to tame Sophia’s wild streak and turn it into something more groomed, pre-packaged and marketable, her handlers are spoiling her natural charm. Not to mention that while watching a child sing pop songs in her living room is hilarious and adorable, trying to turn a child into an actual pop star is just skeevy. Bottom line: it’s hard to enjoy entertainment that feels exploitative. Though I have no doubt Sophia enjoyed herself while making this, it seems her producers enjoy the idea of trying to make money off her even more.

I'm Worried About Sophia Grace

I'm Worried About Sophia Grace

I'm worried about Sophia Grace, guys. Not in the way that I think she might be in immediate danger and someone (Ellen) needs to intervene immediately. She seems happy, healthy and like she's genuinely enjoying massive amount of attention she received since, at the age of 8, she went viral with her precocious version of Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass."
Over the past couple years, Sophia Grace — now 10 — has had recurring appearances on Ellen, interviewed her favorite pop idols on the red carpet and, as of this week, released her first original song along with a professional music video. Throughout all of this craziness, she's remained relatively normal. She continues to shriek (and I mean shriek) with enthusiasm when she meets Katy Perry and she still babbles away like a kid on Christmas whenever DeGeneres presents her and her cousin/hype girl Rosie with lavish gifts.
This is the heart of Sophia Grace's appeal. Throw her into the jaded world of celebrities and she still acts like a funny, authentic, messy little kid. Her presence at the Grammys and MTV Music Awards was like a breath of fresh air. While the other (grown up) presenters are clumsily attempting to walk the impossible line between obsequiousness and camaraderie when interviewing celebrities, Sophia Grace and Rosie are refreshingly uncontrolled. Like children. They don't play the Hollywood game (because they don't know it), they don't try to be the celebrities' friends — they act like themselves and everyone loves them for it. I love them for it.
So why can't I enjoy watching them? It's not because Sophia Grace's new video is freaking nuts (it is). It's because I'm worrying about her future. I'm a childless, 26-year-old broke person and the thought that's keeping me awake at night is "Whatever will become of poor Sophia Grace?"
Sophia Grace and Rosie's gimmick — and it is a gimmick, cute as it may be — is designed to expire. The girls are getting older and, if they spend too much time in Hollywood, their sweet little Essex accents will start to fade. Meeting celebrities will eventually become de rigueur and, when that happens, so goes their genuine enthusiasm. Unfortunately, it's their youth, accents and excitement that gives them a spotlight to begin with. Take those things away and the spotlight goes with it.
Maybe the girls' parents are great. Maybe they've prepared them for this and they'll slip back into civilian life with ease. Still, it's hard to imagine experiencing that scope of attention at such a young age and then easily adjusting to being an average kid again. Every time their classmates talk about a new Taylor Swift song, they'll be able to respond with "Who cares? We've had tea parties with her, like, a dozen times." (Taylor, as it turns out, will no longer be returning their calls.)
Sophia Grace is in a unique position. While we've seen countless child stars disappear into obscurity (where you at, Jonathan Lipnicki?), the flicker and fade tends to occur behind the scenes. Sophia Grace, on the other hand, is a modern anomaly. She's not an actor, she's not a musician (well, sort of) — she's a personality. An entire fifth of her life has played out in front of the public eye so if she goes away, we'll have to watch it happen.
I don't want to watch a sweet little girl burn out.
As I said before, Sophia Grace is a new type of child celebrity. We don't know what the best case scenario is for her because we've never encountered anyone like her before. She's charting new territory. What are the options? We could try to keep Sophia Grace in a bubble so that she stays young and optimistic forever. We could force her to wear tutus well into her teen years, but we've seen how that ends — she'll either start tweeting about how she wants Drake to murder her vagina, she'll get a pet monkey and abandon it in Germany or she and Rosie will have a bitter fallout which Rosie then discusses in an episode of Behind the Music that premieres forty years from now. ("Those Ellen days were heady," she'll say. "Not that I remember. We were both fucked up on dust the whole time — y'know, Pixie Stick dust. It'll ruin your life.")
Here's what happens in my ideal world: Sophia Grace's parents pull back a little bit. They bring her back to her hometown of Harlow and make a rule where she only gets to visit her Auntie Ellen during summer holidays. She appears on Ellen a couple of times a year to demonstrate how well-adjusted she is and fully reemerges upon reaching adulthood with a music engineering degree in one hand and a physics degree in the other. She then goes on to win several Grammys of her own as well as a Nobel Prize. She eventually becomes the British Prime Minister, but still freaks out when meeting Zac Efron at a UNICEF gala.
Yeah, it's a pipe dream, but whatever helps me sleep at night.

Taylor Lautner Shows Off New Tattoos and Prepares for Tracers

Taylor Lautner Fast and Furious 7
The rebel werewolf from The Twilight Saga Taylor Lautner gears up for his upcoming movieTracers. This handsome dude from Twilight will show off parkour skills and once again charm everybody with a body to kill. After brief romances with Selena to Swift to Sara, Taylor is busy on the set of Tracers. He was much in news for having a series of cute girlfriends rather than movies in post Twilight days. Now, he gears up again to spawn another rage with looks and acting.
In this thrilling rom com, Taylor stars as Cam, a bike messenger. He gets involved with the dark world of parkour during a time of debts and bad patches. Leaving behind the days of playing second fiddle to vampire Edward, Taylor Jacob Lautner is here to bewitch girls once again. Tracers is an american thriller movie by director Daniel Benmayor, slated to be released in 2014.
“The action difficulty is through-the-roof because most people think parkour is just, ‘Oh, yeah. That’s just running and jumping off of walls and buildings or something.’ But they take it very seriously,” Lautner revealed smilingly. “If a parkour artist heard you say that, they’d be very offended. I mean, it is an art form to them. It required a lot”, he adds. He’s too busy to prepare himself for Tracers.
Lautner thinks Tracers wasn’t just an excuse to show off a new skill.  In his words, “This movie is a great mix [of acting and physicality]. I really wanted to do something that was different for me.” He said to a media. “When I read Tracers, it was unlike anything I had done before. It’s a very character-driven movie. It’s dramatic. My character’s journey throughout the thing is really crazy. It’s challenged me as an actor, but also the physical side as well. It’s a really good combination.”
Lautner (and his stunt double) got pretty physical while shooting a street side fight scene with a muscled-up costar. He was snapped getting beaten up (pretend, of course) on the hood of a parked car for the head-to-head scene.
The role of Cam also required Lautner to get a few new tattoos in addition to his new moves, but luckily for him, the five or six pieces of body art that the character flaunts are only temporary for the actor.  He sported a wolf symbol tattoo to depict a werewolf character. It was tribal sign. Now, once again he will show off tattoos to make us spellbound.
“I’ve gotten so used to them,” Lautner said. “I don’t know if I’d be able to do it — definitely not like this — in my life, but that’s what I love about acting. You get to do things and get away things that you would never be able to.”
“Tracers” opens in theaters next year. We’ll see Taylor Lautner showing off new tattoos. For now he prepares himself for ‘Tracers’. The teenager werewolf Jacob Black is Grown Upnow. Tracers is another treat for fans and also for ‘Team Jacob’ members. Many critics still believe Taylor is the best thing Hollywood obtained from Twilight’. Now, Taylor has to prove his worth.

Sophia Grace Bids Into the Woods Cast Goodbye

1Ten-year old YouTube sensation Sophia Grace Brownlee will no longer be a part of the cast of Disney’s film adaptation of Into the Woods, topbilled by Meryl Streep who plays the role of the wicked witch.
4Sophia Grace, discovered when she was eight years old, rose to fame through YouTube, in which a video of her singing Nicki Minaj’s hit song “Superbass” along with her cousin Rosie Grace McClelland. The video went viral and reached the staff of Ellen Degeneres, who later on called on the cousins to appear as guests on The Ellen Show. The British cousins then became regular guests on the show as they continue to charm audiences with their candid answers when interviewed by Ellen. They are also made to sing and dance from time to time, sent on Toys ‘R Us shopping sprees, and were tasked to explore the new expansion in Disneyland California Adventure.
3They have also been given the privilege to meet, greet, and interview different celebrities at the red carpet during the MTV Movie Awards, the Billboard Music Awards, and the Grammys, among others. They also have an occasional segment on Ellen called “Tea Time with Sophia Grace and Rosie” in which they interview celebrities on their own little tea time set up. All their appearances feature the cousins dressed in various tutus and princess-themed attire.
Although Disney did not confirm nor deny, Sophia Grace’s publicist had already squealed that the young star would be playing the role of Little Red Riding Hood in Disney’s film adaptation of Into the Woods, Stephen Sondheim’s hit musical. As rehearsals progressed for the film, however, Sophia Grace was withdrawn from the cast following a joint decision of her parents, the director, and the producers of the film.
2Sophia’s father, Dominic Brownlee, explained his side on social micro-blogging site Twitter. He said that the parties involved in the making of the film have agreed that the young celebrity may have the talent, but proved to be too young for the material. The musical does feature blatant sexual undertones between Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf, to be played by Johnny Depp. This caused fans of the musical to be concerned that the young star might not be suited for the role. Film director Rob Marshall announced that production had begun for Into the Woods, but Brownlee’s name was not found in the call sheet.
5Taking the place of Sophia Grace as Little Red Riding Hood is Lilla Crawford, a 12-year old Broadway actress who played the title role of Annie in the most recent revival of the show. Although only two years older than Sophia Grace, Lilla Crawford is not a stranger to performing, having done commercials as a child. Prior to playing Annie, Lilla Crawford launched her Broadway career when she took on the role of Debbie in the stage adaptation of Billy Elliot. Disney did not give any reasons for choosing Crawford for the role, as they were not involved in confirming Brownlee’s participation in the film.
Joining Lilla Crawford in Into the Woods are Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, Anna Kendrick, James Corden, Emily Blunt, Chris Pine, along with a stellar ensemble of characters.
